There were just four rounds played in Regular Season of Liga MB and we can clearly see which teams will fight for top positions and which will try to avoid bottom places. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most surprising game was the first loss of Brujos (3-1) in Cojutepeque on Saturday night. Visitors were edged by tenth ranked Cojute (1-2) 74-73. Cojute forced 19 Brujos turnovers and outrebounded them 59-41 including a 43-32 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Durante Lee (196, college: Purdue NW) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds. Forward Nestor Avalos (182-1996) contributed with 8 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Dominican forward Xavier de la Rosa (196-1991) replied with 39 points (!!!) and 4 assists for Brujos. Cojute left bottom position moving up to seventh place, which they share with Aguila. Brujos at the other side dropped to the second position with one game lost. They share it with Santa Tecla. Cojute will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Brujos will play on the road against the league's leader Metapan having rather not much hope for a victory.
An interesting game for Santa Tecla (3-1) which played road game in Izalco against one of their biggest challengers Brujos (3-1). Second ranked Santa Tecla managed to get a 8-point victory 90-82. Worth to mention a great performance of Colombian Michaell Jackson (190-1987) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 15 rebounds and Raymond Miller who added 14 points and 16 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Dominican forward Xavier de la Rosa (196-1991) responded with a triple-double by scoring 22 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Santa Tecla have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains second position with 3-1 record having just one point less than leader Metapan, which they share with defeated Brujos. Santa Tecla will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Brujos will play on the road against the league's leader Metapan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Santa Ana's fans can celebrate the first win of their team after three consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Santiagueno (2-2) 89-82 on Saturday. The winners were led by Jonathan King who scored that evening 40 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 6 assists (made all of his ten free throws !!!). Even 22 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists by Pedro Roque did not help to save the game for Santiagueno. Santa Ana maintains ninth position with 1-3 record, which they share with Chalchuapa. Loser Santiagueno dropped to the sixth place with two games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

Other games in round 4 were not that significant. Metapan beat Aguila on the road 75-66. Fantasmas lost to Santa Ana on its own court 76-78. Chalchuapa were outscored by Santiagueno in a road game 84-109.
